Car waxing shouldn’t be confused with bikini waxing, but there are jokes. “Will try and get the car waxed before the match tomorrow, I’m still not sure how it gets that hairy…” was posted on Twitter by Baldino on April 30, 2011. “I’m going to get my car waxed. It’s a bit too hairy” was posted on Twitter by T’Other Simon on July 17, 2011.
“Just had my car waxed, no idea how it gets that hairy” was posted on Twitter by British stand-up comedian Tony Cowards on March 16, 2013. Cowards posted the joke again on Twitter on August 7, 2019.

Above, a 1934 plaque from the Big Apple Night Club at West 135th Street and Seventh Avenue in Harlem. Discarded as trash in 2006. Now a Popeyes fast food restaurant on Google Maps.
