“Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are” is a saying that has been printed on many images. It is usually credited to Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790), but Franklin never said it.
       
The saying was first cited in the 1990s. “‘Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.’——> Benjamin Franklin” was posted on the newsgroup rec.models.scale on May 10, 1997. “‘Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.’ Benjamin Franklin” was posted on the newsgroup alt.metaphysics.a-a-bailey on September 5, 1998.
