“Let’s reduce drunk driving by taking cars away from sober drivers”

A pro-gun saying compares gun control to misguided efforts to stop drunk driving. “Let’s reduce drunk driving by taking cars away from sober drivers” is a saying that has been printed on several images.

“LET’S REDUCE DRUNK DRIVING BY TAKING CARS AWAY FROM SOBER DRIVERS” (shown on an image) was posted on Facebook by The PaleoFederalist on June 18, 2016. It’s not known who originated the image.

“Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars” and “Want to stop drunk drivers from killing sober drivers? Ban sober drivers from driving. That’s how gun control works” are related sayings.
