“Men are like coffee—the best ones are rich, warm, and can keep you up all night long” is a jocular one-line saying that has been printed on many posters. The humorous saying has appeared in print since at least January 17, 1998, when the Usenet group rec.humor published a much-copied list of “Men are like…” jokes.
Similar sayings include “Chocolate, men, coffee—some things are better rich” and “Men are like chocolate bars—sweet, smooth, and they usually head right for your hips.”
