“Mixing and matching gummy bear brands? That’s polygummy”

Gummy bears (small, fruit gum candies) have nothing to do with polygamy, but there is the joke portmanteau word “polygummy” (polygamy + gummy bear). “Polygummy Bears” was posted on Twitter by Trevor Hill on June 10, 2010.

“Really man? What do you think you’re doing mixing and matching gummy bear brands? That’s polygummy” was posted on Twitter by Max on January 12, 2014. “I have sex with multiple sweet bears. I’m a big fan of polygummy” was posted on Reddit—3amjokes on July 9, 2020.

Wikipedia: Gummy bear
Gummy bears (German: Gummibär) are small, fruit gum candies, similar to a jelly baby in some English-speaking countries. The candy is roughly 2 cm (0.8 in) long and shaped in the form of a bear. The gummy bear is one of many gummies, popular gelatin-based candies sold in a variety of shapes and colors.
