“My stomach is flat. The ‘L’ is just silent”

The word “fat” is oh so close to the word “flat.” “My stomach is flat. The ‘L’ is (just) silent” is a jocular saying that has been printed on many images. “My stomach is flat with a silent ‘L’ 😛” was posted on Twitter by FANNY NUMBER 5… on October 4, 2011.

The saying became popular in October 2018. “My stomach is flat. The ‘l’ is silent 😏💪🏾” was posted on Twitter by Big Sam on October 28, 2019. “My stomach is flat. The ‘L’ is just silent” was posted on Twitter by aatiqah (and others) on October 30, 2018.
