Above, a 1934 plaque from the Big Apple Night Club at West 135th Street and Seventh Avenue in Harlem. Discarded as trash in 2006. Now a Popeyes fast food restaurant on Google Maps.

A joke about a wife getting a husband to do chores was posted on Reddit—Dadjokes on December 1, 2020, and again on Reddit—Jokes on January 19, 2021:
     
My wife: You need to do more chores around the house.
Me: Can we change the subject?
Her: Ok. More chores around the house need to be done by you.
   
The husband wanted to “change the subject” (talk about something else), but the wife changed the subject of the sentence.
