"Once you are awake, it’s hard to go back to sheep” (or “Once you awake, it’s hard to go back to sheep")—“sheep” is a change from the usual “sleep”—is a saying that has been printed on many images. “Sheep” means members of the gullible masses, and “awake” means “woke” to the real causes of events.
