Many runs are planned over holiday weekends, such as a 5k “turkey trot” over Thanksgiving. “I pray to god I never marry into a family that runs 5ks on thanksgiving” was posted on Twitter by K Nye on November 24, 2016.
 
“It might make or break my relationship if I ever marry into a family that does 5ks on Thanksgiving…” was posted on Twitter by Courtney Knowles on November 27, 2016. “One of my biggest fears is that I’ll marry into a family that runs 5ks on holidays” was posted on Twitter by Natalia Skrodzki on December 24, 2016, and this tweet went viral.
 
“I plan on marrying into a family that does mimosas on holiday mornings instead of 5K’s” is a similar saying.
