Pentagram (Pentagon nickname)

The Pentagon is the five-sided building in Arlington, Virginia, that is the headquarters for the United States Department of Defense; the term “Pentagon” is often used metonymically for the Defense Department, just as ‘Washington” is used to refer to the federal government. Libertarian author and blogger Llewellyn Harrison “Lew” Rockwell, Jr., on his anti-war website LewRockwell.com, has referred to the Pentagon as Pentagram (a five-pointed star).

The symbol of the pentagram is often associated with satanic cults. Rockwell’s calling the Pentagon as the “Pentagram” reflects his opinion that the U.S. Department of Defense is evil.

Wikipedia: The Pentagon
The Pentagon is the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense, located in Arlington County, Virginia. As a symbol of the U.S. military, “the Pentagon” is often used metonymically to refer to the U.S. Department of Defense rather than the building itself.

Designed by American architect George Bergstrom (1876–1955), and built by general contractor John McShain of Philadelphia, the building was dedicated on January 15, 1943, after ground was broken for construction on September 11, 1941. General Brehon Somervell provided the major motive power behind the project; Colonel Leslie Groves was responsible for overseeing the project for the U.S. Army.

Speaking of Pentagrams

Lew, it always troubled me that the Medal of Honor, first awarded in 1862, is made in the shape of a pentagram. While the pentagram was not always a symbol of Satan, today it represents overt Satanism. So, I guess it makes sense that the pentagram medal replaces the cross as the pinnacle medal.

On GE’s Morning Joe today, McCainite Joe Scarborough and his sidekicks were denouncing anyone who wants to withdraw from Iraq before the third millennium as “irresponsible.” Hillary general Wesley Clark agreed. It reminded me of all the predictions of chaos and old night if the US left Vietnam. In fact, Vietnam, America, and the world were far better off when the pentagram’s massacres stopped, and Iraq, America, and the world will be far better off when the pentagram stops killing people in the Middle East.

Pentagram: Secretly ‘Recruit or Hire Bloggers’

Gee, what open or subtle warbloggers are on a spook payroll? Guilty until proven innocent, I say. Of course, advocating mass murder should be enough to discredit them. But it isn’t.

So they were using Yugoslavia for death-squad training, before they moved on to Iraq and Afghanistan, and–they hope–to Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf states, and Egypt. (Thanks to Daniel, and for the title too.)
