“Pie rates of the Caribbean” (pun)

“Pie Rates of the Caribbean”—a pun on the Pirates of the Caribbean film series—has been printed on many images. “Pie rates of the Caribbean.  Rubbish.  No pies” was posted on Twitter on December 27, 2008. “Due to a mix-up at Blockbusters, I ended up renting a film about pastry pricing in the West Indies, called ‘Pie Rates of the Caribbean’” was posted on Twitter on February 6, 2010.

“Pie rates of Penn’s aunts” is a similar pirate pun.

Other Pirates of the Caribbean jokes include “I sell pies from my car. $2 for apple, $3 for pumpkin. These are the pie rates of the car I be in,” “My yoga instructor is from Jamaica. She teaches Pilates of the Caribbean” and “What do you call glass cookware from Jamaica?”/“Pyrex of the Caribbean.”
