Poligion (politics + religion)

“Poligion” (politics + religion) is when religion and politics combine. The word “poligion” has been cited in print since at least 2001. The similar (but somewhat awkward) word “politigion” has rarely been used.

“Religitics” (religion + politics) has been cited in print mostly since 2004. “Relitics” (religion + politics) has been used much less frequently than “religitics.”

Urban Dictionary
poligion
The melding of politics and religion. Often found in the narrow mind of fanatics, but also evident in unwelcomed passionate poligious discussions at social events.
He was so mired in his poligion, logical debate was useless.

if the reference to religion being more supportive of social contracts within a culture, you have no further to look than any history book. religious tradition can be described as “relitics” and “poligion” - where the advancement of one is achieved through the veil of the other.

And hence the 8 pages of people trying to derail the thread, in the name of their ‘poligion’.

Politics and religion. Poligion?
I hate the fact that, most countries practise poligion! Yes, you read that right. They mix politics and religion. I love politics and I am fascinated by religion.
