“Practice media distancing”

The 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic required many people to use “social distancing” (standing six feet away). Many people also practiced “media distancing,” especially those who believed “the media is the virus.”

“Have decided to practice media distancing. Seems more reasonable” was posted on Twitter by Jay Gast on March 16, 2020. “I think we should practice media distancing so much BS on CNN” was posted on Twitter by Ralph Edward Munoz later on March 16, 2020. “Mainstream media’s begging for it. Wash your hands off MSM. PRACTICE MEDIA DISTANCING” was posted on Twitter by Ramola D on March 27, 2020.

“Practice social media distancing” is a similar saying.

Wikipedia: 2019-20 coronavirus outbreak
The 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic is an ongoing global pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The outbreak was first identified in Wuhan, Hubei, China, in December 2019, and was recognised as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on 11 March 2020.

BREAKING: Trump just called press “fake news” during a coronavirus press conference, for calling out Trump for lying about Google making a coronavirus website. Trump needs to implement media distancing for himself. He is a liar who shouldn’t talk about the coronavirus ever again.

While we are all focusing on “social distancing”, one of my @DevOpsInst colleagues just suggested we all practice “media distancing” to reduce stress.  Good advice! #HumansofDevOps
