“Public fool system” (fool + public school system) or “public fools system” (fools + public schools system) is how many people describe the government school system.
     
“‘Public Fool System’ (Fool is intended)” was printed in The Mercury (Pottstown, PA) on January 27, 1976. “Public ‘fool’ system” was printed in The Utah Independent (Salt Lake City, UT) on February 17, 1976.
     
“Public ‘fools’ system” was printed in the Greenville (SC) News on October 21, 1999. “Public Fools System” was posted on the newsgroup alt.revisionism on December 22, 2000.
