American talk radio host and author Steve Deace popularized the term “Rainbow Jihad” in 2014 and 2015. The term refers to what other conservative writers have called the “gay lobby” or the “totalitarian left.” The rainbow flag symbolizes gay pride. “Jihad” is an Islamic term meaning “struggle” that is often associated with Islamic terrorism. A “Rainbow Jihad” is a cultural fight that Deace says is often directed against Christianity and that seeks to establish cultural Marxism.
 
Deace wrote “The rainbow jihad of the cultural Marxists” for the Washington (DC) Times on October 20, 2014, and “Marxism is the End Game of the Rainbow Jihad” for Townhall.com on April 25, 2015.
 
Conservative author Debbie Schlussel wrote “Nebraska Muslim Tried to Honor Kill Lesbian Sister – Rainbow Jihad Alert!” for her website on November 13, 2013, in a story that involved gays and Muslims. Deace’s makes use of the Islamic “jihad” term, but Deace’s “Rainbow Jihad” usually does not involve Muslims.

Nowadays the rainbow is symbolic of judgment again. Except this time no mercy is forthcoming from the cultural Marxists who have hijacked it. They seek to ruthlessly banish from public life any who still believe as those who founded America once did.

With each of the homosexual lobby’s successful efforts to secure new “rights,” it has only grown more brazen. If P.J. O’Rourke’s observation is correct that “at the core of liberalism is the spoiled child,” then we are dealing with an exponential expression of that sentiment when the Rainbow Jihad goes to work.
 
You are dealing with outright Marxism. “You will be made to care,” and the spoiled child’s temper tantrums evolve into the worst of school-yard bullying if you dare to tell them “no.”

We find the term “Rainbow Jihad” introduced in Horowitz’s article “Religious Liberty: The Civil Rights Issue Of Our Time” particularly apt in describing how believers have become virtual slaves to radical homosexual provocateurs who have made a cottage industry out of identifying and then attacking through lawsuits and “equal rights” complaints, believing artisans, such as wedding photographers, and small businesses, such as bakeries and pizza parlors, owned by believers.
