“Rapunzel was quarantined and met her future husband so let’s think positively here”

The 2020 COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic resulted in some quarantines. A joke was posted on Twitter by sam fischer on March 15, 2020:

“Let’s not forget that rapunzel was quarantined and met her future husband so let’s think positively here.”

The classic Rapunzel fairy tale was retold in the Disney animated film Tangled (2010).

Wikipedia: Rapunzel
Rapunzel (/rəˈpʌnzəl/; German: [ʁaˈpʊnt͡səl]) is a German fairy tale recorded by the Brothers Grimm and first published in 1812 as part of Children’s and Household Tales (KHM 12). The Brothers Grimm’s story is an adaptation of the fairy tale Rapunzel by Friedrich Schulz (1790) that was a translation of Persinette (1698) by Charlotte-Rose de Caumont de La Force, which was itself influenced by an earlier Italian tale, Petrosinella (1634), by Giambattista Basile. The ultimate source of this tale is the Persian tale of Zal and Rudabeh from the 11th century Shahnameh (Book of Kings).

Thoughts while watching Disney+ via FaceTime with my 2 year old niece:  Rapunzel was quarantined and met her future husband.  So this means there’s a chance.
