Ironically, excessive drinking is a symptom of depression and depression is a result of excessive drinking. Many people drink to cope with stress and numb their emotions but just because you’re numb doesn’t mean your problems will be solved, if anything they will just get worse. Running away from your problems is a race you will never win so stop drinking your pain away.
