“Snow in October happens because people decorate for Christmas prematurely”

Do people put up Christmas lights too early? And does that bring on winter even faster?

“FACT: Snow in October happens because people decorate for Christmas prematurely. You know who you are. Stop it” is a jocular saying that has been printed on many images. the saying was posted on Twitter by Joel Thingvall (and others) on October 20, 2020. The saying probably originated on an image.

“Snow in November happens because people prematurely decorate for Christmas” is a similar saying.
