“Some herbs taste much better at Christmas. It’s the most wonderful thyme of the year”

"It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” (1963) is a Christmas song that was recorded by singer Andy Williams (1927-2012). “Thyme” is a popular pun on the word “time.” “It’s the most wonderful thyme of the year… #SeasoningsGreetings” was posted on Twitter by Pants(ie) on December 8, 2009. “Herbs taste much better at Christmas, It’s the most wonderful thyme of the year” was posted on Twitter by John Collins on December 15, 2017.

“It’s the most wonderful time to drink beer” is another pun on the song.

Wikipedia: It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
“It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” is a popular Christmas song written in triple time in 1963 by Edward Pola and George Wyle. It was recorded and released that year by pop singer Andy Williams for his first Christmas album, The Andy Williams Christmas Album. However, the song was not released as a promotional single by Williams’ record label (Columbia Records) that year, as they instead opted to promote his cover of “White Christmas” as the official promo single from the album.
