“Sometimes I drink water (just) to surprise my liver” is a jocular drinking saying that has been printed on many images. “Today I am gonna surprise my liver, I’m gonna drink water!” was cited on Twitter on August 21, 2010.
   
“Sometimes I drink water to surprise my liver” went viral on Twitter on May 21, 2012.
 
“Sometimes when I’m bored, I drink some water just to shock my liver” is a similar saying.
