“Strong people stand up for themselves; stronger people stand up for others”

“Strong people stand up for themselves; stronger people stand up for others” is a popular saying that has been printed on many posters. The line is usually credited to “unknown,” but it comes from the movie Barnyard (2006) by writer-director Steve Oedekerk:

Ben the Cow: Otis, a strong man stands up for himself, a stronger man stands up for others.
