”Tacoterian A person who eats at Taco Bell all the time” was entered in the Urban Dictionary on August 23, 2004. “lol @ tacoterian =P” was posted on Twitter by Kimothy Rich on May 6, 2009. “i’M A TACOTERIAN…YA KNOW, WHEN YOU ONLY EAT TACOS” was posted on Twitter by El Arroyo (as shown on the restaurant’s sign) on June 6, 2021.

Express coined the term ‘hipster tacotarian,’ mobile food was already a little over, unless it’s just begun…” was posted on Twitter by Oakland Goods on May 22, 2009. “Is there such thing as a tacotarian? Because I think I am becoming one” was posted on Twitter by Timmy Van Timmy on May 26, 2009. “Vegetarian? Carnavore? Pescatarian? or #TACOTARIAN?” was posted on Twitter by La Taqueria on June 23, 2014. The restaurant Tacotarian (plant-based Mexican eatery) opened in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2018.
