Cybill was an American television sitcom starring Cybill_Shepherd aired on CBS from 1995 to 1998.
 
The episode “The Big Apple Can Bite Me” originally aired on January 8, 1996. According to Wikipedia, “A rotten experience in the Big Apple in 1969 took a chunk out of Cybill’s self-esteem, so, for her birthday, Maryann, Rachel and Zoey take her to New York and teach her how to bite back.” The highlight of the episode is when Cybill gets up on a New York City sushi bar and sings the Frank Sinatra song, “That’s Life!”

Starring Cybill Shepherd, the show revolves around the life of Cybill Sheridan, a twice-divorced single mother of two and struggling actress in her 40s, who has never gotten her big show business break.
