Anne Carrington - beautiful, intelligent, successful: a top psychiatrist with an exclusive New York practice. Adam Phipps - poor little rich boy with the looks of a god, the morals of a sewer rat…and a computer programme that could crack Wall Street. Mariel O’Sullivan - angel-faced bad time girl determined to make Adam her meal-ticket, if she can keep him in the gutter long enough. This explosive trio scorch a trail of passion & depravity across New York & Europe, until Adam’s financial dealings trigger a deadly intrigue that threatens Anne’s career - and Adam’s life.
