“The World Health Organization has said dogs are immune to COVID-19. WHO let the dogs out”

The 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic was officially declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11, 2020. A joke on the title of the song “Who Let the Dogs Out” (1998) was told earlier than this.

“World health Organisation said dogs are immune from Conoco and don’t need to be quarantined. WHO let the dogs out” was posted on Twitter by Imtiaz Mahmood on March 6, 2020. “The World Health Organization has said dogs are immune to COVID-19 and don’t need to be quarantined. In other words, ‘WHO let the dogs out!’” was posted on Twitter by Dr_Mountain_Gypsy later on March 6, 2020.

The joke has frequently been removed by the moderators of Reddit-Jokes and Reddit-Dadjokes, for whatever reason.

Wikipedia: Who Let the Dogs Out (song)
“Who Let the Dogs Out” is a song performed by the Bahamian group Baha Men. Originally released by Anslem Douglas (titled “Doggie”) in 1998, it was covered by producer Jonathan King who sang it under the name Fat Jakk and his Pack of Pets.  He brought the song to the attention of his friend Steve Greenberg, who then had the Baha Men cover the song. The song became the band’s first and only hit in the United Kingdom and the United States, and it gained popularity after appearing in Rugrats in Paris: The Movie and its soundtrack album.
