“These days you can’t even say ‘black paint’ any more” (NSFW joke)

A political correctness joke (probably NSFW) states that you cannot say “black paint.” That is usually an adjective and a noun, but the joke has it as a noun and a verb.

“Apparently i can’t say ‘Black paint!’ anymore. I have to be PC and say ‘Please paint that wall, Leroy’” was posted on Twitter by sickipediabot on December 22, 2010. The joke originated on the Sickipedia website.

“Apparently due 2 all ths political correctness bullshit I cnt say black paint any more. I must now say Would U paint the wall please, Leroy?” was posted on Twitter by Joel on January 20, 2011. “Due to all of this political correctness I can’t say black paint anymore. Now I have to say: ‘Leroy, would you please paint the wall?’ #FGV” was posted on Twitter by Nawid Sahebzadeh on January 21, 2011. “I hate that you cant say ‘black paint’ anymore. You have to say ‘George can you please paint the wall?’” was posted on Reddit—Jokes on July 18, 2020.

Black paint is racist. The correct terminology is, “Would you please paint the wall, Shaun?”

Guys can we stop saying “black paint”? It’s racist. Instead say: “Can you please paint the wall Tyrone?”
