“They don’t have to say it’s martial law if they call it a quarantine”

The COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic resulted in some quarantines. Many people compared the quarantines to martial law.
   
“THEY DON’T HAVE TO SAY IT’S MARTIAL LAW IF THEY CALL IT A QUARANTINE” (shown on an image) was posted on Twitter by “free radical” on March 16, 2020.
 
“Quarantine is a safe word for martial law” was posted on Twitter by Charly on March 17, 2020. “Quarantine is a safe word for martial law” (shown on an image) was posted on Facebook by Scott Eckstein later on March 17, 2020.
