“This year I won’t be going to the Maldives because of covid19. Normally I don’t go to the Maldives because I can’t afford it“ and “This year was the first time I couldn’t travel to Europe because of Covid-19. Before this I couldn’t because I didn’t have money” are similar jokes. “This is the first year I haven’t done the London Marathon because of Covid-19. Usually I don’t do it because I’m fat and I can’t run” is a related joke.
