Times New Ramen (Times New Roman font + ramen noodles)

Times New Roman is a popular serif typeface that was originally used on The Times newspaper in London in 1931. Times New Ramen is a joke font of ramen noodles. The font was illustrated on flickr  in 2009. “Alphabet soup more like times new ramen am i right” was posted on The Stars Go Waltzing Out In Blue And Red on January 9, 2014.

The website TimesNewRamen.com in 2015 also illustrated the joke font. Times New Ramen has been made into several images.

Wikipedia: Times New Roman
Times New Roman is a serif typeface commissioned by the British newspaper The Times in 1931 and created by Victor Lardent in collaboration with the British branch of the printing equipment company Monotype. Although no longer used by The Times, Times New Roman is still very common in book and general printing. Through distribution with Microsoft products and as a standard computer font, it has become one of the most widely used typefaces in history.

If they were to make a font out of noodles, it’d be called Times New Ramen.

You Can Download a Font Called ‘Times New Ramen,’ and Yes, It’s What You Think It Is
It started as a joke, but the font’s creator says society should get with the times

If you feel so strongly about ramen that you’d like those noodles to write the story of your life, you now have that option.

Developed by Ryder Ripps, Times New Ramen is the printed version of what alphabet soup is to lovers of the alphabet. It’s also nearly impossible to read unless the font is enormous, so don’t expect to get any work done with it.
