Too Stupid for Arby’s (Transportation Security Administration or TSA nickname)

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) began in 2001 under the U.S. Department of Transportation; in 2003, TSA was moved to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. “Too Stupid for Arby’s” (Arby’s is a fast food restaurant that employees many low-skilled workers) is a TSA nickname that has been cited in print since at least April 20, 2005.
 
Other TSA nicknames include “Thousands Standing Around” (since at least November 15, 2002), “Totally Stupid Agency/Assholes” (since at least February 3, 2006), “Tough Shit, America” (since at least March 20, 2006), “Tray Stackers Association” (since at least April 4, 2006), “Total Sexual Assault” (since at least November 14, 2010) and “Thugs and Sexual Assailants” (since at least November 23, 2010).

An airline pilot called Neal’s show and explained that the acronym, “TSA” stands for TOO STUPID for ARBY’S.
