“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—I took the one with tacos”

American poet Robert Frost (1874-1963) wrote in the poem “The Road Not Taken” (1916):

“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I — I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.”

There have been taco versions that have been printed on many images. “Two paths diverged in the woods & I took the one that led to WAFFLE TACOS” was posted on Twitter on February 28, 2013. “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—I took the one that lead to tacos, And that has made all the difference” was posted on Twitter on May 22, 2013.

“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—I took the one with a Starbucks drive-thru” is another jocular version of Frost’s poem.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
(...)
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I —
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
