“Voting is like trying to fix a broken car by changing the driver”

Many people believe that you cannot fix government by just electing the “right” people, such as Democrats or Republicans. It’s argued that the system of government itself is what is broken.

My Democratic opponent, @JoeNeguse, thinks you can fix a broken car by changing the driver. Wake up, Joe! Governmental incompetence is not a bug. It’s a feature. Conversely…Freedom Works! #CD2 #Copolitics #LP18

Yelling at buildings with signs never changed anything. Voting today is the illusion that we can fix a broken car by changing the driver. If the social system is the decease, then those who appoint themselves to assist its operation are the tumors and lesions.

Trump and Kavanaugh are symptoms of a corrupt system, which you can change by voting as much as you can fix a broken car by changing the driver.

Our system will remain broken on January 20th. You don’t fix a broken car by changing the driver. You rip out the parts that are broken. Sometimes, you scrap it.
