Blue’s Big City Adventure (2022) is a film that takes place in New York City, and is based on the American interactive educational children’s television series BLue’s Clues. Josh and Blue travel to New York City to audition for a Broadway musical.
 
There are several references to New York City’s nickname, the “Big Apple.” Lyrics such as “We’re taking a bite out of the Big Apple tonight” and “We’re off to New York City to make our Broadway dreams come true. Best way to the Big Apple has to be when we skidoo” are in two songs. In one of the songs, people have apples in their hands. “NYC THE BIG APPLE” is seen painted on a building.
