“What did the spaghetti say to the other spaghetti?"/"Pasta la vista, baby!”

A pasta riddle is:

Q: What did the spaghetti say to the other spaghetti?
A: “Pasta la vista, baby!”

“Pasta la vista” is a portmanteau of “pasta” and “hasta la vista” (Spanish for “goodbye” or “farewell"). “Hasta la vista, baby” is a famous movie line from the film Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991). “Pasta la vista” was used in a newspaper headline in 1974. “‘What did the mama spaghetti say to the baby spaghetti?’ On her way out the door she yelled, ‘Pasta la vista, baby!’” was printed in a 1997 book.

“How does one spaghetti say goodbye to the other spaghetti? Pasta la vista baby” was posted on Twitter by Soaps on April 11, 2015. “Q: What did the spaghetti say to the other spaghetti? A: Pasta la vista, baby!” was posted on Twitter by Jokes Galore on September 24, 2017.

“What did the noodle say when leaving the room?"/"Pasta la vista baby!” is a similar riddle.

Wikipedia: Hasta la vista, baby
“Hasta la vista, baby” is a catchphrase associated with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s title character from the 1991 science fiction thriller film Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

Origination and uses
The term “Hasta la vista” is a Spanish farewell that can be literally translated as “Until the (next) sighting” and means “See you later” and “Goodbye”. This term, with the added word “baby” - “Hasta la vista, baby” - was used in the popular hit song from 1987, “Looking for a New Love” by Grammy Award winner Jody Watley. It was also used in the 1988 Tone Lōc single “Wild Thing”.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day
“Hasta la vista, baby” became a famous catchphrase when it was used in the 1991 film Terminator 2: Judgment Day, which was written by James Cameron and William Wisher Jr.

Dan Mizock, co-owner of the six-week-old Pasta La Vista in Mission Hills, is doing brisk business already, And no, Pasta La Vista doesn’t mean you get your pasta later. The way Mizock interprets his own play on “hasta la vista,” it means you’ll see the restaurant around in lots of places.
