Spaghetti can look like worms—or more specifically, a worm orgy. “Desda el punto de vista de una lombriz, un plato de espaguetis es una orgia” (“From a worm’s point of view, a plate of spaghetti is an orgy”) was printed in the 1998 book Patas arriba: La escuela del mundo al revés (Upside Down: A Primer for the Looking-Glass World) by Uruguayan journalist, writer and novelist Eduardo Galeano (1940-2015).
