“What do you call a lawyer who brews coffee?”/“A barristar.”

A “barrister” is a lawyer; a “barista” is a person who prepares coffee. Of course, there are jokes.

“In England, people who practice law are called ‘barristers’ while the people who make your coffee are called ‘lawyers.’ #coffeefacts” was posted on Twitter by Mark on March 12, 2010. “Thinking of opening a coffee shop especially aimed at lawyers, called The Barrister’s Barista. And a pub next door: ‘Called to the Bar’” was posted on Twitter by CorporateGorilla on September 20, 2012.

A portmanteau of the two words is in this riddle that was posted on Reddit—3amjokes on October 2, 2019:

Q: What do you call a lawyer who brews coffee?
A: A barristar.
