“Leprecondo” (leprechaun + condo) is a popular St. Patrick’s Day joke. “LEPRECONDOS” was printed in a real estate ad in the San Angelo (TX) Standard-Times on March 17, 1985.
   
“WHAT DO YOU CALL THOSE LITTLE GREEN BUILDINGS INHABITED BY IRISH WEE FOLK? Leprecondos!” (a Hallmark card) was printed in The Avoyelles Journal (Marksville, LA) on February 23, 1986. “Overheard on St. Paddy’s Day: What do you call those little green buildings where Irish wee folk live? Leprecondos” was printed in the Boston (MA) Globe on March 19, 1989.
   
“What do you call a leprechaun’s vacation home? A lepre-condo!” was printed in The Miller County Autogram-Sentinel (Tuscumbia, MO) on March 11, 2004. ” What do you call a leprechaun’s vacation home? A lepre-condo” was printed in the Reader’s Digest on March 4, 2022.
