The “veinilla” (vein + vanilla) joke has been cited in print since at least January 1997, when a “Cryptoquip” puzzle answer mentioned “Count Dracula” instead of “vampire.”
“What’s a vampire’s favorite fruit?"/"A blood orange” and “What’s a vampire’s favorite fruit?"/"A necktarine” are similar vampire riddles.
