“When a billionaire dies, who inherits their senators?” was posted on Twitter by Amir Talai 🐳 on August 23, 2019, and the tweet received over 133,400 likes. Some responses were “They trickle down” and “The highest bidder” and “Thrown on the pyre like a Hindu wife” and “They should be buried with them like a pharaoh.” American businessman, political activist, philanthropist, and chemical engineer David Koch (1940-2019) had died the day before, on August 23, 2019.
