“When there’s a big solar energy spill, it’s just called ‘a nice day’”

“When there’s a big solar energy spill, it’s just called ‘a nice day’” is a jocular pro-solar energy line that has been printed on many images. “Hey #tcot there’s a SOLAR ENERGY spill on my roof, call the Coast Guard! Oh, wait. Never mind!” is a joke that was posted on Twitter on April 30, 2010. “Breaking news: solar energy spill across southern California—plants grow, animals frolic, humans enjoy the sun” was posted on Twitter on May 26, 2010.

“When there is a huge solar energy spill, it’s just called ‘a nice day.’ Pass the Solar Jobs Act” was posted on Twitter on June 14, 2010. The saying was put on many billboards.
