“Why is programming in Django hard?”/“You can only use two fingers on your left hand.”

A Django programming joke was posted on Reddit—Jokes on October 22, 2017:

Q: Why is programming in Django hard?
A: You can only use two fingers on your left hand.

The joke requires knowledge of Jean “Django” Reinhardt (1913-1953), a Belgian-born, Romani French jazz guitarist and composer who played with two fingers of his left hand.

Wikipedia: Django (web framework)
Django (/ˈdʒæŋɡoʊ/ JANG-goh) is a free and open-source web framework, written in Python, which follows the model-view-template (MVT) architectural pattern. It is maintained by the Django Software Foundation (DSF), an independent organization established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

Django’s primary goal is to ease the creation of complex, database-driven websites.

Wikipedia: Django Reinhardt
Jean “Django” Reinhardt (French: [dʒãŋɡo ʁɛjnaʁt] or [dʒɑ̃ɡo ʁenɑʁt]; 23 January 1910 – 16 May 1953) was a Belgian-born, Romani French jazz guitarist and composer, regarded as one of the greatest musicians of the twentieth century. He was the first jazz talent to emerge from Europe and remains the most significant by far.

Reinhardt lost most control of two fingers on his left hand in a fire in his youth. He developed a modified technique to overcome this disability and went on to forge an entirely new ‘hot’ jazz guitar style, now known as Gypsy jazz, or jazz manouche, that remains a musical tradition in France and neighbouring countries—especially within Gypsy culture. Reinhardt’s innovations on the guitar helped elevated it above its prior position as usually only a rhythm instrument.

as a django developer can someone explain this to me

Krabo[S]
Django Reinhardt was a famous Belgian jazz guitarist from the 1920s who burnt his left (fretting) hand in a camp fire, which froze two fingers on his hand. He could only play with the remaining two fingers on his left hand (along with his thumb), but is widely recognised as the father of modern jazz manouche.
