The 2020 COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic resulted in six feet social distancing requirements. “Six feet” often refers to how deep a person is buried in a cemetery.

So I went for a nice walk around the cemetery” was posted on Reddit—Dadjokes on April 9, 2020.
     
“Hanging out in a peaceful little graveyard right now, because everyone stays more than six feet away from you here” was posted on Twitter by Nicole Passmore on April 14, 2020. “It is ok to go to graveyards because everyone who stays there will always be at least six feet away from you” was posted on Twitter by GrugsPro on May 6, 2020. “Why’s a graveyard the safest place in quarantine?”/“Everybody’s 6 feet away” was posted on Reddit—Jokes on January 10, 2021.
 
“Better six feet away than six feet under” (social distancing) is another “graveyard—six feet under” saying.
