“Wine—How classy people get drunk/shitfaced/trashed/wasted” is a jocular saying that has been printed on many gift items, such as posters, T-shirts and buttons. “WINE! How Classy People Get Shitfaced” has been cited in print since at least 2009, when the saying was included in the book Give the Bitch Her Chocolate, by Ed Polish and Darren Wotz. “WINE…... How classy people get drunk!” was cited on Twitter on December 18. 2010. “Wine! How classy people get wasted” was cited on Twitter on March 7, 2011.
