“You are not stuck in traffic. You are traffic”

“You are not stuck in traffic. You are traffic” is a pro-bike saying that has been printed on many images. “Your not Stuck in traffic; You are traffic” was posted on the newsgroup rec.humor on June 20, 1995. The saying has been popular in Germany since at least 2005.

A few years ago, someone made that point rather nicely by painting in two foot high letters on a bridge across the autobahn near Mainz “You’re not stuck in traffic, you ARE traffic!”.  Only in German, obv.
