“You can feel sore tomorrow, or you can feel sorry tomorrow—you choose” is a saying that has been printed on many posters. The saying has been cited in print since at least June 2011 and is of unknown authorship.
 
Similar sayings include “Better sore than sorry” and “You can wake up sore or you can wake up sorry.”
