“You know you’re getting older when it feels like the morning after, but there was no night before”

“You know you’re getting older when it feels like the morning after, but there was no night before” is a jocular saying that has been printed on many images.

“A SURVEY TO ESTABLISH IF YOUŹRE GETTING OLD: (...) You feel like the morning after, but there was no night before” was posted on the newsgroup uk.media.tv.sf.startrek on September 13, 2001. The saying possibly originated from a comic illustration of the “Maxine” character by John Wagner.

OT: Something to take your mind off WTC

Hi all,
I`m sure you are all shocked by the images from NYC, I know I am, so here is something to take your mind off it. I simply had to share this with you, I laughed until I cried:

A SURVEY TO ESTABLISH IF YOUŹRE GETTING OLD:
Everything hurts; what doesn`t hurt doesn`t work.
The gleam in your eye is the sun shining on your glasses.
You feel like the morning after, but there was no night before.
