“Spanish Harlem” (1960)
"There is a rose in Spanish Harlem..." It's a dramatic, romantic song.

"Spanish Harlem" (1960) is from the prolific songwriting team of Jerry Lieber and Mike Stoller. Their songs (including this one) have been the subject of a recent Broadway musical, Smokey Joe's Cafe.

The full lyrics are under copyright and cannot be reproduced here.
