Wikipedia: Taco
A taco (US: /ˈtɑːkoʊ/, UK: /ˈtækoʊ/, Spanish: [ˈtako]) is a traditional Mexican food consisting of a small hand-sized corn- or wheat-based tortilla topped with a filling. The tortilla is then folded around the filling and eaten by hand. A taco can be made with a variety of fillings, including beef, pork, chicken, seafood, beans, vegetables, and cheese, allowing for great versatility and variety.

#gooddaydc I put salsa and sour cream on my tacos but to me a taco is a deconstructed cheese burger with a crunchy shell. So I see nothing wrong with ketchup.

Fun fact: the guy who started taco bell tailored his taco to the American palette by making it like a deconstructed cheese burger (ground beef, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and lettuce), to attracted less adventurous customers.
