Terriers (St. Francis College teams)
St. Francis College in Brooklyn ("The small college of big dreams") has some competitive sports teams. For reasons that its website does not explain, those teams are nicknamed the "Terriers."

10 December 1933, New York Times, pg. S2:
Carroll was the man who kept St. Francis in the running. He tallied five field goals and seven fouls for seventeen points and easily was the star of the Terrier offense.
