“The French restaurant served Napoleon Chicken. No meat—only the boneypart”

Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821) has a last name that shouldn’t be confused with “bony part,” but there are jokes.

“I was in a restaurant in Paris and ordered the ‘Napoleon Chicken.’ When the dish arrived, I was surprised to find very little meat on it, and it was mainly carcass. I asked the waiter why, and he said ‘We only use the ‘Boneypart.’”

The chicken is not to be confused with CHicken Marengo, a dish named to celebrate the Battle of Marengo, a Napoleonic victory of June 1800.

Wikipedia: Napoleon Bonaparte
Napoleon Bonaparte (born Napoleone Buonaparte; 15 August 1769 – 5 May 1821), later known by his regnal name Napoleon I, was a Corsica-born French military commander and political leader who rose to prominence during the French Revolution and led successful campaigns during the Revolutionary Wars. He was the de facto leader of the French Republic as First Consul from 1799 to 1804, then Emperor of the French from 1804 until 1814 and again in 1815

I was in a French restaurant last night and I thought I’d try the Napoleon Chicken.
When the dish arrived, I found that there was hardly any meat on it, it was mainly carcass. I complained to the waiter who said, “But Sir, we only use the boneypart.

I was at a restaurant the other night and I ordered Napoleon Chicken
When it came, there was hardly any meat just of the carcass.
“What’s this ?” I asked, “Where’s the meat?”
The waiter replied: “Oh, in this dish we just use the boney part !”

Went to a restaurant last night and they had ‘Napoleon Chicken’ on the menu.
I asked the waiter what this was, he said; “There’s no meat - only the boney part…”
